Well, our little Lily May turned ONE YEAR OLD on the 20th....
It is so hard to believe it's already been a year...she has come such a long way from the little punkin' that was born at 2lbs 2oz & 28 weeks to a healthy one year old. We are so blessed to have her. Mike & I have been very emotional over the past few weeks thinking about how far she has come.
As a one year old, Lily May...
- Has 6 teeth - 2 on top & 4 on bottom
- Just started crawling a few weeks ago & is into EVERYTHING
- Loves to say Da-Da - but not "Ma Ma" yet :-(
- Smiles ALL the time...it is so sweet. She's very happy.
- Has the most intoxicating laugh...it melts your heart.
- Is infatuated with Bella, our Lab & has just started pulling up on Bella & when Bella is sitting & Lily is standing, they are almost eye-to-eye. She's also (unfortunately) infatuated with Sinatra, our older Shih Tzu, who doesn't like to have his tail pulled, etc.
- Loves finger foods & seems to have lost interest in pureed baby food.
- Has no interest in a sippy cup, even with juice in it.
- Is interested in everything & will snatch something before you are even aware of what she's doing. She takes pens out of waitresses' pockets, tries to take off anyone's name tag & generally wants to touch EVERYTHING.
- Is the LOVE OF OUR LIVES!
